Animal Clinic of La Porte is a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care.

We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.

At Animal Clinic of La Porte, we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn’t feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy.

Dr. Courtney Smith is a 2015 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. She received her B.S in 2010 and M.B.A. in 2011 from Texas A & M University-Commerce. Upon graduation, Dr. Smith began her veterinary career working at a small animal and exotics clinic where she cemented her love of seeing all pets. Dr. Smith special interest include exotics and surgery as well as general primary care. Dr. Smith enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends in her free time. She resides in League City Texas with her dog, Roxi, and her two cats, Dottie and Amelia. Dr. Smith is available for appointments every Tuesday, and see’s exotic and pocket pets!

Dr. Reed was one of those kids who wanted to be a veterinarian from a very young age, and she never outgrew that dream. She graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2008 and worked in a small animal practice in Harker Heights, TX from 2008 to March of 2015. In 2015 she moved back to the area to be closer to her family. She currently resides in Kingwood with her 2 dogs and 2 cats. In her free time, she enjoys running, kayaking, quilting and reading.

Dr. Willard Jones, DVM

Dr. Willard Jones is a life long native of La Porte, Texas. He graduated from La Porte High School in 1976 and was voted most school spirited by his graduating class. After high school, he went to Texas A&M University and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Biomedical Science in 1980. After receiving his bachelors degree, he went on to get his doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1986. After school, he moved back to La Porte and began practicing veterinary medicine with Dr. Reed Tolles at Bay Porte Animal Clinic before opening his own practice in Dickinson. Dr. Jones later moved his practice to La Porte, where he has been for over 20 years. His favorite area of veterinarian medicine are preventive medicine and client education. In his spare time Dr. Jones can be found spending time with his wife and three sons, as well as cheering for the Houston Texans and Texas A&M Aggies.
