Doctor Seon Radix has lived in the Houston area for 9 years. He spent most of his young years living between New York City and Trinidad and Tobago. He has always wanted to be a Veterinarian. He was inspired by his dad, Jacque Cousteau, National Geographic, and his love of the sciences.
Dr. Radix received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from City College of New York C.U.N.Y. This city boy then moved to rural Alabama and attended the prestigious Tuskegee University College of Veterinary Medicine where he did his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2003. Dr. Radix then did a 1yr internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Radix enjoys the Preventative care aspect of medicine the most but has worked in emergency care, Shelter care, and Large private 24-hour hospitals over the duration of his 17 yr career.
He married his lovely classmate Dr. Nikki King. Dr. Radix moved to Houston to be closer to his wife’s family and raise their three young children. Dr. Radix, when not working, enjoys spending time with his kids playing soccer, riding bicycles, going to the movies, or travelling. They have one family pet, a German Shepherd named Fury.
